Here’s a truth: highly successful people don't wait around for inspiration. They rely on discipline – a habit, by consistently taking action even when they don’t feel like it.

That doesn't mean motivation is useless; you have to start somewhere.

The key lies in getting started!

By using the power of three you can do just that.

Trick: Three Steps to Motivate and Inspire:

  1. START!: First key is to begin. Momentum begins with movement! Feeling overwhelmed by a large goal? Break it down into a something you can do now. Consider: a 1-minute plank instead of an hour at the gym. Take that small step now.

  2. CONTINUE: The second key is to continue. Can you do it one more time? It’s the second iteration/repetition that builds momentum. You must repeat what you started to keep the momentum going!

  3. COMPLETE: Use your third effort to represent completion even if it isn’t the actual, final stop. By performing the behavior three times; starting, continuing and then completing you will feel terrific! You will prove to yourself something known in psychology as self-efficacy – the ability to achieve a desired result. It is that self-efficacy that will fuel motivation!

By using the power of three to get started, continue and finish, you’re sure to surprise yourself. The momentum will carry you further than you expected.

Forget about waiting to feel motivated – test the power of three for yourself.

We asked Google’s AI experiment Gemini to “break” the “3 Circles of Behavior Echo-System” behavior model.

The short story (no pun intended), is he/she/IT could not.

The best Gemini could offer: “What about people who aren’t aware of their unconscious stories/thinking?”

It’s a good question and a nice attempt. However, an unconscious story is still a story (represented within the model), and that is the point of the latest book, EVERYTHING is a F*cking STORY where the latest version of the model was revealed.

BTW: You are invited to try and “break” the “3 Circles of Behavior Echo-System” behavior model as well.
