Thursday Thread: Anger
“Whatever is begun in anger ends in shame.”~ Benjamin Franklin
Anger and impatience.
These two emotions tend to travel as a fast-moving pair.
In the heat of the moment, we're more likely to make rash decisions or lash out verbally.
The road paved with anger and impatience delivers us to the doorstep of regret and shame.
The good news is we’re not animals.
Rather we’re human BE-ings and, in theory, can choose WHO and WHAT to BE.
We can reflect and even adjust our habituated reactions.
With PRACTICE, or course.
Happy Thursday!~mg
